TheQualification
Today in our series “ZYC Explains” part 7: The Qualification.
The preselection is complete and the results are in – we are delighted about all the talents we will now get to experience live in March.
From March 6 to 8, 2026, the first live stage of The Contest takes place at Brunnenhof Zürich. Here the jury meets the musicians on stage for the first time: sound, expression, presence – everything becomes immediately tangible. The jury listens for musicality, expressiveness, stage presence, technical execution, and personal artistic voice – always in an age-appropriate way and in the right context. A rank is not a placement but a qualitative assessment; several participants can receive the same rank.
We look forward to inspiring days full of music.
